Vattnet Viskar set to record new album and some headlining shows

VATTNET VISKAR are stepping back into the studio to record their new album next month. This will be the follow up to their album, Sky Swallower which received high praises. With Sanford Parker (TWILIGHT, PELICAN) at the helm as producer, the quartet’s next album promises to boast more of the crushingly ambient metal that has earned VATTNET VISKAR “album of the year” accolades in the past.  Check out their song, Breath of The Almighty from Sky Swallower:

A Skylit Drive release acoustic version of Rise

A Skylit Drive have released an acoustic version of their song, Rise which will be on their upcoming album, Rise: Ascension and will feature acoustic re-invention of their critically acclaimed album, Rise. The album is set to release on January 6th through Tragic Hero Records. Check out the track here:

 

You can pre-order the album now. For the new record, the band enlisted platinum producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Something Corporate, The Rocket Summer) who worked with the band on the pre-production of Rise. The album is a complete re-work of their shows which featuring piano, cello, bass, and other assorted instruments.
