We had listed SmashMouth as one of our featured bands of the Day for Bottle Rock last month and they were awesome last Saturday. We were running around like crazy but we were glad we could make it out to the Miner Stage to catch a few of their songs from their set. It was packed from front to back, side to side. They were truly there to give the fans what they wanted; an absolutely fun time filled with their favorite songs.
This band does not need any introduction as almost all of us at one time or another cranked up “All Star” and sang out loud at the top of our lungs. I have always had a love affair with SmashMouth since they bring out the fun side in me and capture the perfect essence of summer! You can’t help but listen to their music loud and dance along as their music has always been the life of the party! “When we play itʼs a nonstop party,” Steve Harwell, lead singer says. That is so true and I hope you all come out to enjoy SmashMouth and their non stop party at this year’s Bottle Rock Napa Festival. Check out a few of Rockin Ryan’s photos from their set here:
SmashMouth started back in 1994 in San Jose and this year is the 20 year Anniversary for them. They have hits that were and still are everyone’s favorites such as Walkinʼ on the Sun and All Star,Then the Morning Comes, Canʼt Get Enough Of You Baby, and a cover of The Monkees classic Iʼm a Believer. You can’t forget how great it was to hear their Monkees cover on the Shrek soundtrack (#4, Billboard Adult Top 40). Collectively, the band Smash Mouth has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and there is no letting up in sight for these musicians as they continue to keep the party alive.
