London: u mean MARS as a location ? as in ROCKSTARS ON MARS ? our band name and a term we’ve used before to fuck with one another that means “FUCKED UP CRACK HEADS” ? its easy , all u gotta do is commit SOCIAL SUICIDE too ! its fun lol! its called rock n` roll, real rock n roll! trying to start or recrank the motor on a music movement thats not everybody yet gets.. this is like viking shit .We are saying fuck it , we´re setting sail and gonna make our society that gets us rather than moving over after the buildings are up and all the work has been done, or waiting around like ones that are pissed off cause shit aint moving fast enough but don’t do their part to start that band . FUCK THAT! we are up on that stage with broken equipment ,shit shorting out,so fucked up were falling off stage and usually just dangling by a thread ..but were doing it .. cause were not waiting until we HAVE what we don’t to scream FUCKING HEAR US!!! U WILL NEVER KILL ROCKING ROLL !! we´ll do it with broken acoustic guitars if we have to, and no mic and shove our rusty broken stings up somebody`s ass if they try to stop us or snob out on us cause we got the balls to do it anyway we have to.

London: ..its wasn’t hard to find one another even in rock city DEATH METAL CAPITAL OF THE WORLD “GOTHENBURG,SE.” .. we are those rodeo clowns that wonder what the fuck people are talking about when they look at us like we are rodeo clowns.. that shits been going on for years though.. but one night, went to a club called ROCK BAR a well known in Gothenburg, got TOO DRUNK TOO FUCK and realized we were some of the last standing that looked like rodeo clowns ,That night we decided to start a BAND that dirty little sleaze glam rocker girls would be into. Now we have some new clothes and a shit-ton of make up. Thanx ladies.
Music Junkie Press: How did the name come up?
London:we were gonna go with “music junkie” but we couldn’t find any sleaze rock like we had in the 80´s so the shooting up stopped and we went to music rehab.. ROCKSTARS ON MARS is the aftermath to a Valium and a cup of coffee ,so to speak . How did u come up with your name ? Just kidding we love u cats but if we weren’t dicks ,would u love us?

TOO KOOL was recently featured on Nicke Borg from BACKYARD BABIES radio show on Bandit Rock but that was before MARTIN got a hold of it and gave it a even harder dirtier punch in the face that we knew he could and would do. London: Well we’ve been friends with CRASHDIET for a while now, but a tattooist friend of mine in LA turned me on to them a while ago. First time I heard them it was like waking from a coma and it was 86 all over again ,I couldn’t believe it was a new band! fucking cool!! It’s like this in the sleaze glam scene in Sweden, from head to toe, heart to soul ,the lifestyle, everything that many have thought of being only of yesteryears is very alive and kicking ,and not a trend but a culture and still is made up of those same street kids that would never and will never give up and this attitude explodes through the music as real as it ever did before. It’s sleazy, it’s dirty, at times feels like a train wreck waiting to happen, it’s loved, its hated ,It’s misunderstood, but no matter what it is ,it stays hungry it’s rude , it fights for it’s kind ,it’s perfect because it’s unperfect.. It’s rock n roll! IT’S “FUCK YOU ROCK N ROLL”! Now u add shit tons of make up, the most fucked up shit we can find to wear, while getting off everytime we get sneared at by the same people that act like they would’ve worshiped the PMRC long ago and mix in that we surf your couches, aint got no jobs, people half the our age sometimes even look at u like “grow the fuck up”, not to mention we will blow your computers up with porn lol! ,drink everything u got then puke on your welcome mats cause u tell us we have to leave and combine that with a couple of cigarette burns in the carpet and i guess you have to ask yourself ,anyone who wants to work with US fucked up “perma kids” and supporting what WE call rock n roll are ones of us and deserve us never to quit and leave them to stand alone. Together you have the intense rock n roll of NiteRain.”
NiteRain is Adrien Persen on Guitar, Sebastian Tvedtnaes on Vocals, Morten Garberg on Drums and Frank Karlsen on Bass. They have been known to have explosive stage presence and deliver high velocity sleaze rock. These guys are definitely in the running to take over the glam sleaze rock scene! They have had great success in touring with L.A. Guns across Europe and we hope they come out here to the US soon. Their glam infused rock is just as contagious as their fierce energy and is something we need.

Baz: Thank you for saying that! We are definitely influenced by Mötley Crüe, also Guns N Roses and Skid Row. These bands got the songs and the attitude. It’s important to have both.
Music Junkie Press: I know out here in the States, being a glam or 80s rock style, sometimes gets frowned upon and you have to deal with a lot of negativity, how has it been for you guys out there?
Baz: Nobody has fucked us over, people in different genres seems to respect us. And we don’t have that lipstick glam style that some bands have. We are more into darker stuff.
Music Junkie Press: I admire that in your culture where you guys do respect others from different genres, we should take a lesson from you guys! What advice do you have for young teens who want to follow their dreams of getting into music?
Baz: Don’t listen to your parents and practice, practice, practice! I dont know how many hours we spent fighting with our parents in our youth playing too loud and singing too much at night etc. Do what you want to do in life. And when you get the chance, don’t miss it! Today my parents are really supportive!
Music Junkie Press: I know what you mean about the loud music at night. If only everyone appreciated music as we all do. Judgement Day is such a bad ass song, can you tell me more about it and the story behind it?
Baz: Yes, I can! We wrote that song about the whole Maya Armageddon stuff in 2012. All these Hollywood movies came out, National Geographic had tons of episodes on this stuff. People were kind of aware that something was gonna happen. We just took it easy and wrote a song about it all, in our minds this was gonna be the last rock n roll song on this earth since we put it out the day before the end of the world or the same day or something!
Music Junkie Press: Well I am glad it wasn’t your LAST SONG and we are all here to enjoy more NiteRain! Your live performances that we have watched on Youtube are amazing and you guys really put on a full 150% spectacular show. Do you have any pre-show rituals?
Baz:Thanks again, there is a lot of energy going on! We have some rituals, but we can’t tell the world about it! Haha!
Music Junkie Press: OK, we will have to let it be a secret… for now! f NiteRain could put together a dream tour, what three bands, living or dead would you have on the bill?
Baz: Thats a good one! I will say a nice evening with NiteRain, Mötley Crüe and Guns N Roses on the bill would be very exhausting to the audience! Would be sick!!
Music Junkie Press: That would be a world class tour that no one would want to miss. If I could peak into your Ipod, what artist or song would I be most surprised at finding in there?
Baz: If you could peek into my Ipod you would see a lot bands you wouldn’t believe, but I must say I’m a sucker for Gypsy Kings! They got so many feelgood songs, unfortunately I missed their show in Norway the 2nd November. I was on my own tour. Damn!
Music Junkie Press: NiteRain is ideal for a residency style tour on the Sunset Strip. You guys have the complete package and people would love it. Do you have any plans on coming out to America, specifically California?
Baz:We would love that! I was in California, Los Angeles this summer and hung out with the best of people. I’ve never met so many great people in 11 days. People ain’t shy over there! Love it! If we got the opportunity or got invited for something like that we would be sitting on a plane right away! Nothing would stop us!
Music Junkie Press: Well you guys would truly fit right in and we would love to have you. What 80’s song would you consider to be your anthem song or theme song to your life?
Baz: For NiteRain? Definitely L.A Guns with the song No Mercy!!
Music Junkie Press: Nice choice! What are your two favorite gear items you need to have? (guitar, pedal, sticks, etc)
Baz: Since I sing I always carry my own mike and my libido. The other guys, I don’t know. They have their Ampegs and Blackstars, picks, sticks and chicks! That’s our favourite gear!
Music Junkie Press: Love that! We have seen that you have performed at Stadiums, festivals and nightclubs. What was your favorite show you ever performed?
Baz:Every show is different. It’s as much fun to play at a packed stadium as it is to play at a packed nightclub. The energy is the same! It’s raw and brutal!

This week, I have incredible ’80s inspired rock band from Oslo, Norway as our Tuesdays Travels Pick. They are NiteRain and they have an amazing sound. Their music reminds me of catching early Motley Crue out on the Sunset Strip in the ’80s. Early Vince Neil style vocals, Kick ass guitar riffs, slamming bass and energetic drums. Together you have the intense rock n roll of NiteRain. Check out this teaser from NiteRain:
NiteRain is Adrien Persen on Guitar, Sebastian Tvedtnaes on Vocals, Morten Garberg on Drums and Frank Karlsen on Bass. They have been known to have explosive stage presence and deliver high velocity sleaze rock. These guys are definitely in the running to take over the glam sleaze rock scene! They have had great success in touring with L.A. Guns across Europe and we hope they come out here to the US soon. Their glam infused rock is just as contagious as their fierce energy and is something we need.
NiteRain is releasing their album Crossfire on November 15th worldwide and will be kicking off the event with a release party at the Hard Rock Cafe in Oslo, Norway. Norway and Europe can pre-order their album here and we will keep you posted with links in the future on the worldwide availability. One of my favorite singers is teaming up to launch a new clothing line and it is going be just as WILD as he is!!!! Simon Cruz of Crashdiet and Terror have released a teaser video to announce their launch of their upcoming clothing line.

I love this teaser video, especially the part when Simon and Terror are huddled in the attic sewing the clothes. It completely reminds me of my son Rockin Ryan when he is doing his custom threads.
Obviously it will be an amazing line because if you have seen the clothing that Simon wears on and off stage he has some bitchin style! We had the opportunity to catch Crashdiet as they played at the DNA Lounge earlier this year. They put on the best live show and truly just bleed energy! The ” Godfathers of Glam Metal” Wrathchild has been dishing up KICK ASS Rock n Roll for almost 35 years but nothing has slowed these guys down. In fact, you could say that their energy level has not only stayed as constant but even intensified. They are truly one of the most amazing bands to see live. I unfortunately, have not had the opportunity but with them working on a new album, we may just get them to come to the States and show everyone how its done.

Music Junkie Press:Thank you so much for giving us the time for an interview! We love Wrathchild out here and are so glad to share with our readers what is new with you guys.
Gaz Harris:Thank you for having us. Yes a lot as been happening in Wrathchild over the last few years. With STAKK ATTAKK 2 being so welcomed by old and new fans we have been busy playing festivals and gigs and also working on new material.
Music Junkie Press: We understand that you are working on a new album? How is that going and have you recorded yet?
Gaz Harris: The new album is coming along great with even bigger kick arse songs. I’m really excited about this album and cant wait till you can hear it,we are aiming for a release date early December.
Music Junkie Press:Do you guys currently have any shows coming up?
Gaz Harris:We have just done 2 festivals, and now we are back in the studio. I think we won’t be doing any more shows now till the album is launched. I must admit I am missing gigging. I am a people person. I luv meeting new fans at shows and the fans have been great welcoming me into Wrathchild over the years.
Music Junkie Press: We definitely love having you in Wrathchild! You guys just deliver intense energy on stage that is non stop. Do you have any pre-show rituals to get ready for your shows?
Gaz Harris: Now that’s a question, I spend a lot of time in the gym. Our shows we don’t do ballads, lol. So all our songs are high octane Rock n Roll. As a front man, the songs can only be delivered one way and that is a lot of movement and not sitting behind a mic stand. We don’t have a ritual, we just go into overdrive soon as we hit that stage and hope it shows in our performances.
Music Junkie Press: With Pop being so prevalent around us and so many people keep saying Rock is Dead. I personally don’t agree, since you just have to look for it and keep it alive. What is your opinion when people say Rock is Dead?
Gaz Harris: All I can say is look around, Rock n Roll is certainly alive and kickin arses. There are more rock festivals around now and every year they are growing, so no Rock n Rroll ain’t dead and never will be.
Music Junkie Press:Definitely, with bands like Wrathchild, it will never die! We currently have a big scene of teenagers who are just so engaged and interested in the ’80s Glam/Sleaze Metal and new bands are popping up and they are trying to make their own way. What advice can you give them about music?
Gaz Harris: Be strong follow, your heart. Don’t let the critics get you down, cos you are different ….different is where you want to be …you can succeed.
Music Junkie Press: That is some great advice and even for anyone at any age. If you could look back on all your shows, what is the craziest thing that has ever happened during a show?
Gaz Harris: Every show is crazy. In fact every gig, we are always looking for something different. That may be why our shows are so popular .
Music Junkie Press:We love our tattoos and you have so many awesome ones. I know mine all have a personal story, what is your favorite tattoo of yours and why?
Gaz Harris: I can’t say I have a favorite. I luv tattoos and my tattooist is a good friend of mine. I’m always looking for ideas for tattoos. All I can say 4yrs ago i only had 3 tattoos.
Music Junkie Press: If you could name one song of today’s pop genre that you wish was never around and that we could do without, what would it be?
Gaz Harris: Oh my god where do i start !!!
Music Junkie Press:Just the answer I was looking for!! Do you have any plans to come to the States, most specifically California? We are waiting and ready to show you our love for you guys!
Gaz Harris: We are working on this with the next album tour. I would love to bring Wrathchild to the states. So people reading this, lets make it happen. Wrathchild needs to come to the States ,and California is our first stop yes.
Music Junkie Press:We are ready to make it happen! Now, can you tell us 3 things that we might not have know about you?
Gaz Harris:I’m scared of spiders.I work out at the gym 5 times a week and run 30k a week . When i joined Wrathchild I was 13 stone in weight, now im 9.5 stone.
Music Junkie Press:Your vocal range is amazing and you can just about sing any song and it will amaze us! If you could take any song from any other genre and turn it into your own or a Wrathchild style, which would it be?
Gaz Harris: Well as we are talking California ,maybe it should be the Beach Boys California Girls and may be we will do it when we come over.

Music Junkie Press: How did you guys form Wicked?
Wicked: WICKED began when two brothers, Chad Michael and Danny Doll, set out to capture the steamy emotion and explosive battle of 1970s Rock & Roll. Wicked: 2013 is going to be a big year for WICKED! Everyone’s been very anxious to hear something from the All American Glam Rockers…and 2013 is the year we are going to make a big noise! We have some big performances coming up like two premier nights at America’s largest 80’s festival Rocklahoma and much more! WICKED has also been in and out of the studio tracking a massive catalogue of demos preparing for the debut album and all the surprises that come with it!

Wicked: The first CD ever bought by Danny and Chad was a double purchase. We couldn’t decide between Kiss – Destroyer and AC/DC – Highway to Hell…so we got BOTH! Been rocking ever since thanks to those albums!

Music Junkie Press: If you could take any song from any other genre and turn it into a Wicked style, what would it be?
Wicked:The thing about WICKED is we don’t fall into a genre except Rock ‘N Roll, but we take in music from a vast amount of influences. It would be hard to take a song from another genre or band, because what we play comes from the depths of our rebel souls! The only way to get it on is with a killer WICKED tune!

Music Junkie Press: Dream lineup. If you could have three bands/artists living or dead to play a concert with, who would they be?
Wicked: The original KISS lineup; Paul, Gene, Ace, and Peter, New York Dolls with Johnny Thunders, and one of our favorites… STARZ !!! All playing with the thunderous WICKED would be a show of a lifetime!

Music Junkie Press: Band or Artist that most inspired you to get into music?
Wicked:We all have had different influences like Aerosmith, The Beatles, AC/DC, and KISS who showed us that the raw energy and passion could be like a miracle every time it is presented on stage…but I believe we were truly brought together by some other force or chance…the circumstances between us all meeting is just too weird to be just a coincidence!

Music Junkie Press: If you could go back and give your 14 year old self, any advice what would it be?
Wicked: All the struggles and low times in life…loss of friends, love, or family will make you who you are and will come out in your music! Just keep yourself focused because music, your hard work, and upbeat attitude will prevail… you have a great future!

Wicked: Here we go… WICKED members have never been in any previous bands, it has only been one year since we have joined forces in the pursuit of Rock ‘N Roll (with so much accomplished already), and the band and its management team are like one big family…always hanging like a gang, sharing dinners, laughs, and life’s ups and downs! We have no plan of stopping until we are at the top! Join us and bring back Rock ‘N Roll domination!
It is amazing how much this band has accomplished in such a short amount of time. These guys have incredible determination and we wish them the best of luck. So what are you waiting for?
