Here is the statement issued last month from AC/DC on their website:
‘Rock or Bust,’ the highly anticipated new studio album from AC/DC, will be released December 2, 2014. Featuring 11 new tracks and recorded in Spring 2014 at Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, BC, ‘Rock or Bust’ finds AC/DC once again working with producer Brendan O’Brien and mixer Mike Fraser.
“Rock or Bust” is the first AC/DC album in the band’s 41 year history without founding member Malcolm Young on the recordings. Earlier this year AC/DC released a statement explaining that due to illness, Malcolm would be taking a break from the band. Unfortunately, due to the nature of Malcolm’s condition, he will not be returning to the band. AC/DC will undertake a world tour in support of ‘Rock or Bust’ in 2015. Stevie Young, nephew of founding members Angus and Malcolm Young, plays rhythm guitar on ‘Rock or Bust’ and will accompany the band on tour.
Starting September 27, Turner Sports will provide fans a sneak peek of the new track ‘Play Ball’ as part of the 2014 Major League Baseball Postseason campaign. Check back here for more.

Billy recounts his life story from his transient childhood to becoming a punk pioneer and from being one of MTV’s first megastars and revealing never before told tales of the culture, sex, drugs and rock and roll that colored Idol’s experience through fame.
We look forward to the book release and the new album. Seeing Billy Idol perform two back to back shows in San Francisco in 2010 was the highlight of my concert coverages and it has been way toooooo long! We will definitely be at the Wiltern show and will bring you our full coverage.

Memphis May Fire have been quite busy touring in support of their new album, Unconditional. There is no stopping these guys and we are glad to see them coming to perform at this year’s Aftershock Festival. One thing is for sure, get ready for an incredible set. Memphis May Fire are adrenaline fueled and when they hit the stage, they bring it at a 150%. Vocalist, Matty Mullins completely takes control of the crowd and has everyone engaged from the start. These guys have great stage presence and it will be awesome to see them take over at Aftershock.
Song to Check Out: Beneath the Skin off Unconditional and another favorite is Alive In The Lights off Challenger
Video to check out: Beneath The Skin
If you aren’t able to make it out to Aftershock, make sure you catch Memphis May Fire as they set out on their fall tour co-headlining with Yellowcard and Emarosa as support. The tour is set to kick off on October 16th and finish up on November 16th in San Francisco. YES! You know where Music Junkie Press will be on November 16th!
“We’ve recently become great friends with the guys in Yellowcard and mutually decided to give our fans the opportunity to experience a tour like no other this Fall.”, said Matty Mullins. “Too many bands tour within a singular genre with similar sounding peers, which doesn’t offer much excitement. Our collective decision with Yellowcard to diversify and break this mold has us more excited than we’ve ever been to hit the road and share the love with all the fans. See you in October/November!“
VIP tickets include: a VIP entrance to venue; access to VIP lounge area featuring dedicated bar, beverage and food service; viewing of main stage (seated and standing areas); seated area with shade for dining and private restroom facilities; a VIP commemorative guest laminate, and more.
