Ohio based trio Plaid Brixx have been quite busy! They are currently in the studio working on their new album.I am really excited to hear the new music since their punk infused rock is absolutely addictive. I love their sound and style and can’t wait for more. Check out the video for the title track of their Chemistry EP.

The new EP, Chemistry, which was co-produced by lead singer Chris Duggan and producer Richard Barone. In case you missed it before, check out their video for their song, Hipster Queen:

The track is also from their EP, Chemistry, which was released on July 8th. The song is infectiously catchy and I love it! The video is fun and flirty and will have you wanting to watch it over and over. Plaid Brixx bring the playfulness back to music as the create a youthful spirited vibe that will have you hooked.

You can also check out Plaid Brixx on December 19th as they will be performing at The Agora in Cleveland, Ohio. Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on their latest news.

We recently told you about the awesome Gerard Way concert at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco. You can read more about that here: Gerard Way at the Fillmore.  What I really wanted to tell you more about, is the opening band on his tour, The Eeries. We had the chance to catch them perform at  Aftershock Festival in Sacramento and I was glad to see them again. They were incredible and were definite crowd pleasers.

Their impressive set was energetic from start to finish. The guitarist/vocalist, Isaiah was recovering from pneumonia but with the intensity and passion he brought to the stage, there was no evidence of being sick. He was spot on and had that crowd fired up for each song. Their sound reminded me of a blend of Nirvana and Beck. This is one band I strongly urge you to check out, they are well deserving of your attention! . Check out some killer photos by our Rockin Ryan of their set:

The legendary Fillmore is filled with wall to wall posters of amazing musicians and Sunday night, the magic and beauty on the stage was created by none other than Gerard Way. The venue was packed and there were fans who waited in line most of the day, as they happily took their place on the barrier in front of the stage. Check out the setlist for the night:

Gerard has such a charismatic personality and the crowd went wild from the moment he stepped onto that stage. The band came out in their matching white dress shirts and ties, all sharply dressed and ready to conquer the set. Gerard took the stage in his dapper attire and the entire venue was filled with loud cheers and screams. Everyone was so excited to witness and be part of Gerard‘s first solo tour and he exceeded any and all expectations we might have had. He completely blew everyone away with his performance. He has such an intense passion when he sings that you are just captivated by his magnetic charm.

Gerard’s vocals carry such emotion and it is no wonder that so many fans feel such a connection when he sings. He brings out the complete honesty in his music, which is somewhat lacking in today’s music scene.  Song after song, the crowd sang along and raised the energy to insurmountable levels. What an amazing night that I will not soon forget. We stayed until the last note was played and we were lucky enough to get out in time and be one of the proud recipients of the traditional Fillmore Venue Poster. Check out the poster here:

Beauty in the Suffering just finished up their US Summer Tour dates and now are ready to treat you to their new lyric video for their track, Juliet (You’re Mine). The song was written, programmed, arranged, performed, and produced by DieTrich Thrall and features drums from Chris Emery (American Head Charge). The track can be purchased using the “name your own price” model on the band’s Bandcamp here. Check out the lyric video here:

The song is a great track with passionate lyrics amid their fresh new industrial metal. It is a fierce track and definitely one to pick up. DieTrich explains about the song:

Excited to be able to introduce everybody to our new single ‘JULIET’ (You’re Mine)!’ Very much inspired by the many friends who have filled my social media news feeds with all of their experiences and confessions of unrequited love.. Makes me wonder why we put ourselves through this soul-crushing crucible in the first place – that we could somehow find that ONE person to fill ALL of the many holes in our heart. But then, if it had been too easy – would it have mattered as much..?

Broken pieces of the mess that you left behind you.. The Beauty We Glean From The Suffering We Have Endured Can NEVER Be Denied..” DieTrich Thrall (Beauty In The Suffering)

Beauty in the Suffering really have a great sound, think a blend of Rob Zombie, Murderdolls and Marilyn Manson. They bring their Electro-Metal Hard Rock to life and raise the level of intensity and energy.  Beauty in the Suffering is the brainchild of the talented DieTrich Thrall and has become a supergroup featuring an ever-expanding lineup that includes veterans from American Head Charge, Dope, Genitorturers, Skinlab, Razorblade Dolls and many more. Make sure to check out Beauty in the Suffering social media sites so you can stay up to date on their latest news.
