Chris Broderick announces departure from Megadeth

One of the coolest guitarists in metal, Chris Broderick has announced his departure from Megadeth. Chris posted the following statement on his website:

Due to artistic and musical differences, it is with great reluctance that I announce my departure from Megadeth to pursue my own musical direction. I want all of you to know how much I appreciate the amount that you the fans have accepted and respected me as a member of Megadeth for the last seven years, but it is time for me to move on. I wish Dave and everyone in Megadeth all the best. I am working on a few things of my own and hope that when they come out, you will all dig it.

We wish all the best to Chris in his future endeavors and we can’t wait to hear what he has in store for all of us.  I am hoping we get to see him once again at the upcoming NAMM convention in January. ATTN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: Please help find Dave Mustaine’s mother-in-law

It has been reported that Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine;s mother in law, Sally Esterbrook has been reported missing since October 4th. The Megadeth Army sent out the following message to help in getting the word out and help find Sally:

If you are currently in the San Diego County, Riverside County, Orange County, or Imperial County area in California, we are asking for your help to pass out flyers in regards to the search for Dave Mustaine’s mother-in-law, Sally Estabrook.

Sally, 75, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was last seen by her husband at the Pinezanita RV Park & Campground in Julian, Calif. on Oct. 4. After returning from a shower, his wife was nowhere to be found. The search for Sally has been ongoing ever since.

If you are in the area, please help by downloading the following flyer, print out as many copies as you can and post around the Counties listed above. Please help by posting online through your social networks as well. Thank you for your help.
