Rock Legend Ace Frehley has announced the title for his new album, Space Invader and is set to be released on June 24th through Entertainment One Music (eOne Music). This will be his first new solo album in 5 years and we are all looking forward to it.  Ace shared the news with the following statement,

“Life on Earth has been very good to me, and the body of work I’ve created over the years has withstood the test of time.  Today I see no obstacles before me and my creativity has never been more fine tuned. Growing up in an Alien world has enhanced my senses and allowed me to succeed where others would have failed. The best is yet to come!”
Ace widely known as the original “Space Ace” and founding guitarist for 16 cumulative years (over 2 tenures) of the multi platinum selling rock band KISS. Frehley will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and will also be appearing at this year’s Revolver Golden Gods Awards in April. Ace will be at the Awards show by presenting the Dimebag Darrell “Best Guitarist” Award alongside label-mate Zakk Wylde.  Frehley adds,  “It’s exciting to finally be part of the Golden Gods, awards and an honor to be part of any Dimebag memorial award.  He was a friend, and I know everyone misses him, as do I.”
We will keep you updated on the new album which will include at least nine brand new original songs as well as a cover of Steve Miller’s “The Joker.” Make sure to visit his social media sites so you don’t miss any news.

Have you gotten your cabin booked yet for the Kiss Kruise?? Well, I know that if I could I would be there!! Yes, I have grown up listening to Kiss and do like their music but the number one reason for me to be there would be to see the Debut of Steven Adler’s new band; Adler.  Adler was recently added to the 2nd Kiss Kruise which is set to sail October 31, 2012 – November 4, 2012 departing from Miami, FL with a destination of Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas onboard the Norwegian Pearl.

This will be the first live performance of Adler and after watching their video for their first single, ‘The One that you Hated” I am sure everyone is excited to see this band.  When you listen to them you can really appreciate the formation of an incredible band. You have Jacob Bunton of Lynam and Mars Electric on vocals whose voice reminds me of one of my favorite vocalists – Tommy Girvin (Tommy Girvin -Bulldozer Sessions and Eddie Money band), guitarist Lonny Paul (who I enjoyed watching with Steven Adler’s Appetite band last year),Johnny Martin of Chelsea Smiles who rocks on the bass and the incredibly awesome drumming of none other than the great Steven Adler! Steven is a force not to be reckoned with as he brings together a band that delivers an honest rock and roll sound that you are sure to fall in love with. These guys just kick ass!

The debut record of Adler is set to release later this year and was produced by Jeff Pilson (Foreigner, Dokken). There will even be guest appreances by Steven’s former Guns ‘n Roses bandmate; Slash and the great John 5 formerly of Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie. Their first single “The One That you Hated” is available now on Itunes and you can watch a video of Alder on their youtube channel. I will keep you updated as to the upcoming release date and possibly an interview.  This is one album that I will be anxiously waiting for. Last year when I saw Steven Adler with Adler’s Appetite it was a great show and Steven’s energy filled the room and Lonny Paul was incredible to watch live! Here is the link for the video:

So if you can, make sure to head over to the Kiss Kruise website and get your tickets to this amazing cruise and a chance to see the first live Adler show! If you do, make sure to send me some pictures and let me know how it was. For now, get on Itunes and download their single and make sure to follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
