UK rockers, Heaven’s Basement have released their music video for their straight up Rock track, Lights Out In London.  The song is off their highly acclaimed Filthy Empire album which is out on Red Bull Records. The song is one of my favorites as it really highlights how these four talented musicians know how to kick ass and bring the life back in to Rock n Roll. They have had quite a year with extensive touring and we can’t wait for them to return to California. Check out their new video here:

Their song Be Somebody was announced as the theme song for the 2014 Red Bull Air Race. Guitarist Sid Glover even took to the skies for a test flight with one of the pilots. It looks like a lot of fun.

We have had the opportunity to interview Heaven’s Basement several times last year and you can check those out here, as well as a BAD ASS tribute video that Rockin Ryan put together from footage and photos of their San Francisco show at Slim’s.

2013 was a KICK ASS year for UK rockers, Heaven’s Basement and 2014 is proving to be another spectacular year for them as they are in high demand.  They recently returned to the UK for their “Welcome Home” Headlining tour and had to cancel several dates on the tour due to mandated vocal rest for vocalist Aaron Buchanan. They are set to return back to the US for this year’s Rock on The Range and Rocklahom festivals and more. Check out upcoming tour dates here:

In other Heaven’s Basement news,  guitarist Sid Glover is up for the Metal Hammer“Dimebag Darrell Shredder” Golden God award.  Metal Hammer‘s awards are June 16. We featured Sid Glover on our 12 Days of Guitarists this past year. You can read more here

Their album, “Filthy Empire” which is out on Red Bull Records is full of hits and is one of those albums that you listen to from start to finish with no fillers. “I Am Electric” has recently become my Go To song to get amped/pumped up and then of course the rockin song “Heartbreaking Son of a Bitch”. Another highlight of the album is the bluesy rock song of “Lights Out in London”.  This album really is a great treasure and you will soon have it on replay in no time.   You can pick up your copy on Itunes,  Amazon, and their online store.

Today is Day 2 of our Guitarists and we are proud to bring you Sid Glover of Heaven’s Basement. Sid is a madman on his Gibson.  We saw Sid a couple times this year and he just doesn’t disappoint.  Heaven’s Basement quickly rose to fame in the States this year and we couldn’t wait to see Sid play live at Aftershock Festival in September. It was our first time seeing them and it was awesome to see them play the big Monster stage.  Read more about their Aftershock performance here.

In October we had the opportunity to see Heavens Basement play a smaller venue  in San Francisco when they opened up for The Pretty Reckless. It was a packed house at Slim’s and it was a stellar evening that included Louna from Russia and the whole night was amazing!

Here is a video interview we did with Sid and Aaron from Heaven’s Basement when they played in San Francisco.

Heaven’s Basement truly has an incredible electrifying stage presence. These four guys give a 150% of themselves out on that stage and it continues from the first note to the last song.  It is amazing to watch as they must high octane adrenaline running through those veins.  Sid to the right of the stage, always delivers intensity and blistering guitars as the crowd goes wild for him.

During their U.S. tour, Heaven’s Basement had the pleasure to see their blazing single, “Fire, Fire” rise up the Active Rock Charts.  Their album, “Filthy Empire” is full of hits and is one of those albums that you listen to from start to finish with no fillers.

So we are proud to feature the bad ass guitar work of Sid Glover as our Day 2 of Guitarists! Make sure to check him out on their social media sites and fall in love with his captivating stage presence! Here are some more photos of Heaven’s Basement and Sid in action by Rockin Ryan:

This has been quite a year for UK rockers Heaven’s Basement.  They stole the show at the Ernie Ball stage during the Aftershock Festival in September. You can read more about that here. Then they went out on tour with The Pretty Reckless and Louna and were amazing! You can check out more about that  here. They have recently finished up the Going To Hell Tour and returned home. They then went to perform a cover for Phil Taggart and Alice Levine for the Live Lounge on BBC Radio 1.  Well, it was quite an AMAZING performance!

Heaven’s Basement performed a cover of Lady Ga Ga’s Do What U Want.  Honestly, this cover quite trumps the original by tenfold! The emotion and passion that Heaven’s Basement put into their performances comes out loud and clear in this video. Check it out and be amazed!

Heaven’s Basement have been so busy this year touring in support of their album, Filthy Empire that is filled with hits and all the songs remain on my current playlist!  They have a short time at home and then it is back to touring starting this Friday for a European Tour with Black Veil Brides. You can check the tour dates on their website but almost all shows have been sold out for a while now.

You can also get your pre-order in now for Heaven’s Basement‘s Special Edition of Filthy Empire that includes bonus live tracks from their 100 Club show and videos from Download Festival. It will definitely be one to add to your collection and you can pre-order here on Itunes.

For now, I will leave you with some videos which include our two interviews with members of Heaven’s Basement as well as a tribute video that Rockin Ryan put together from footage and photos of their set during the Going To Hell show in San Francisco.

Last month we told you how UK rockers Heaven’s Basement really stole the show at the Ernie Ball stage during the Aftershock Festival. You can read more about that here. Well this past weekend, Heaven’s Basement made their debut appearance in San Francisco at Slim’s where they were performing with The Pretty Reckless and Louna.

The lineup alone was incredible as it had British, American and Russian bands touring together on the Going to Hell Tour and they really put on quite a show. Shortly before their set, we had the opportunity to interview Sid Glover and Aaron Buchanan as they told us about what other countries they look forward to touring next.  We are pleased to bring you the interview from Slim’s right here:

Heaven’s Basement truly has an incredible electrifying stage presence. These four guys give a 150% of themselves out on that stage and it continues from the first note to the last song.  It is amazing to watch as they must high octane adrenaline running through those veins.  Aaron definitely has an amazing talent to please the crowd. His charismatic energy is contagious as the crowd just went wild and he even did some crowd walking which if you have ever been at Slim’s is a rarity to see!  Rob Ellershaw on bass not only gives us his smoking basslines but at the same time, he is so in sync with Chris Rivers on drums as they are throwing sticks back and forth without missing a note or a beat. They are a great team together. Sid to the right of the stage, delivered intensity and blistering guitars as the crowd went wild for him. Together, they gave an incredible performance and whether people went in for The Pretty Reckless or Louna, they were all leaving as Heaven’s Basement fans.

During their U.S. tour, Heaven’s Basement has had the pleasure to see their blazing single, “Fire, Fire” rise up the Active Rock Charts. Most recently, it has come in at No. 11 and I think it is definitely  not stopping there, and will climb into the Top 10.  Their album, “Filthy Empire” is full of hits and is one of those albums that you listen to from start to finish with no fillers. “I Am Electric” has recently become my Go To song to get amped/pumped up and then of course the rockin song “Heartbreaking Son of a Bitch”. Aftershock Festival brought out a whole long list of great bands and one that I was truly looking forward to was Heaven’s Basement!!! We have been listening to them for a while and it was great seeing them at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards in May. I couldn’t wait to see them live since they truly just rock with their hit single, “Fire, Fire“.   So when I saw them on the bill for Aftershock, I couldn’t wait to see them.

Well they took over the Ernie Ball stage and truly delivered an arena style performance. These young guys know how to ROCK and had the crowd instantly pumped! We had the opportunity to interview Aaron Buchanon – lead singer and Rob Ellershaw – bass. Here is that interview for you:

They are literally booked with non stop tour dates that has them busy until next year. You have to make sure to check the listings so you don’t miss this high energy band coming to your town. Check out the photos from Aftershock Festival here:

You can also check out this video of their performance of “Fire, Fire”  from Aftershock Festival 2013:

Make sure to stay up to date with their social media sites and make sure you have your copy of “Filthy Empire” available on Itunes,  Amazon, and their online store.  You will be rockin in no time with this one and have it on replay for a while! Just what your ears ordered…. Pure Hard Rock n Roll with no Fluff!!!
