UK rockers, Heaven’s Basement have released their music video for their straight up Rock track, Lights Out In London. The song is off their highly acclaimed Filthy Empire album which is out on Red Bull Records. The song is one of my favorites as it really highlights how these four talented musicians know how to kick ass and bring the life back in to Rock n Roll. They have had quite a year with extensive touring and we can’t wait for them to return to California. Check out their new video here:
Their song Be Somebody was announced as the theme song for the 2014 Red Bull Air Race. Guitarist Sid Glover even took to the skies for a test flight with one of the pilots. It looks like a lot of fun.
You can check out their song Be Somebody and even get a free download of it from Red Bull Records:
We have had the opportunity to interview Heaven’s Basement several times last year and you can check those out here, as well as a BAD ASS tribute video that Rockin Ryan put together from footage and photos of their San Francisco show at Slim’s.

Their album, “Filthy Empire” which is out on Red Bull Records is full of hits and is one of those albums that you listen to from start to finish with no fillers. “I Am Electric” has recently become my Go To song to get amped/pumped up and then of course the rockin song “Heartbreaking Son of a Bitch”. Another highlight of the album is the bluesy rock song of “Lights Out in London”. This album really is a great treasure and you will soon have it on replay in no time. Today is Day 2 of our Guitarists and we are proud to bring you Sid Glover of Heaven’s Basement. Sid is a madman on his Gibson. We saw Sid a couple times this year and he just doesn’t disappoint. Heaven’s Basement quickly rose to fame in the States this year and we couldn’t wait to see Sid play live at Aftershock Festival in September. It was our first time seeing them and it was awesome to see them play the big Monster stage. Read more about their Aftershock performance here.
In October we had the opportunity to see Heavens Basement play a smaller venue in San Francisco when they opened up for The Pretty Reckless. It was a packed house at Slim’s and it was a stellar evening that included Louna from Russia and the whole night was amazing!
Here is a video interview we did with Sid and Aaron from Heaven’s Basement when they played in San Francisco.
Heaven’s Basement truly has an incredible electrifying stage presence. These four guys give a 150% of themselves out on that stage and it continues from the first note to the last song. It is amazing to watch as they must high octane adrenaline running through those veins. Sid to the right of the stage, always delivers intensity and blistering guitars as the crowd goes wild for him.
During their U.S. tour, Heaven’s Basement had the pleasure to see their blazing single, “Fire, Fire” rise up the Active Rock Charts. Their album, “Filthy Empire” is full of hits and is one of those albums that you listen to from start to finish with no fillers. “I Am Electric” has recently become my Go To song to get amped/pumped up and then of course the rockin song “Heartbreaking Son of a Bitch”. This has been quite a year for UK rockers Heaven’s Basement. They stole the show at the Ernie Ball stage during the Aftershock Festival in September. You can read more about that here. Then they went out on tour with The Pretty Reckless and Louna and were amazing! You can check out more about that here. They have recently finished up the Going To Hell Tour and returned home. They then went to perform a cover for Phil Taggart and Alice Levine for the Live Lounge on BBC Radio 1. Well, it was quite an AMAZING performance!
Heaven’s Basement performed a cover of Lady Ga Ga’s Do What U Want. Honestly, this cover quite trumps the original by tenfold! The emotion and passion that Heaven’s Basement put into their performances comes out loud and clear in this video. Check it out and be amazed!
Heaven’s Basement have been so busy this year touring in support of their album, Filthy Empire that is filled with hits and all the songs remain on my current playlist! Last month we told you how UK rockers Heaven’s Basement really stole the show at the Ernie Ball stage during the Aftershock Festival. You can read more about that here. Well this past weekend, Heaven’s Basement made their debut appearance in San Francisco at Slim’s where they were performing with The Pretty Reckless and Louna.
The lineup alone was incredible as it had British, American and Russian bands touring together on the Going to Hell Tour and they really put on quite a show. Shortly before their set, we had the opportunity to interview Sid Glover and Aaron Buchanan as they told us about what other countries they look forward to touring next. We are pleased to bring you the interview from Slim’s right here:
Heaven’s Basement truly has an incredible electrifying stage presence. These four guys give a 150% of themselves out on that stage and it continues from the first note to the last song. It is amazing to watch as they must high octane adrenaline running through those veins. Aaron definitely has an amazing talent to please the crowd. His charismatic energy is contagious as the crowd just went wild and he even did some crowd walking which if you have ever been at Slim’s is a rarity to see! Rob Ellershaw on bass not only gives us his smoking basslines but at the same time, he is so in sync with Chris Rivers on drums as they are throwing sticks back and forth without missing a note or a beat. They are a great team together. Sid to the right of the stage, delivered intensity and blistering guitars as the crowd went wild for him. Together, they gave an incredible performance and whether people went in for The Pretty Reckless or Louna, they were all leaving as Heaven’s Basement fans.
During their U.S. tour, Heaven’s Basement has had the pleasure to see their blazing single, “Fire, Fire” rise up the Active Rock Charts. Most recently, it has come in at No. 11 and I think it is definitely not stopping there, and will climb into the Top 10. Their album, “Filthy Empire” is full of hits and is one of those albums that you listen to from start to finish with no fillers. “I Am Electric” has recently become my Go To song to get amped/pumped up and then of course the rockin song “Heartbreaking Son of a Bitch”. Aftershock Festival brought out a whole long list of great bands and one that I was truly looking forward to was Heaven’s Basement!!! We have been listening to them for a while and it was great seeing them at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards in May. I couldn’t wait to see them live since they truly just rock with their hit single, “Fire, Fire“. So when I saw them on the bill for Aftershock, I couldn’t wait to see them.
