Electronicore band, Nevada Rose are ready to take their new blend of hardcore and electronic dance music out on tour. They have just announced dates for their Down With the Sound Tour featuring support from Vanity Strikes and Curses. The tour will start on December 5th in Middleton, NY and wrap up in Elizabethton, TN on December 21st. Check the dates below and see if they will be making it out to a venue near you:
Earlier this year, Nevada Rose released their debut album, Paint Me In Light via Tragic Hero Records and was producec by Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Motionless in White). Their new blend of electronicore take you from dance mix blends to deep heavy growl style metal so get ready to dance your ass off while headbanging! One thing is for sure, when you listen to it, you can’t escape the energy that begins to flow. Kaj Roth explains, “Mark my words, this band will shake your house. Expect to hear more about Nevada Rose on the web from now on because Paint me in light is just like an amusement park ride, breathtaking and entertaining. Imagine a rave party invaded by Hells Angels bikers and you´ll get this 11 track album.” Check out their lyric video for Anchors For Sunsets:
Their new sound is as if someone kidnapped Skrillex (aka Sonny) and forced him to join Asking Alexandria….but you know what? This blend works great and maintains a seamless balance of electronic dance hooks amid heavy drums and yet delivering inviting harmonies and pop melodies. It is quite a musical gem and I think will definitely appeal to a wide audience, regardless of where your genre alliance may lie.
So make sure to pick up their album and get yourself to a show! Also be sure to visit their social media sites to stay up to date on their latest news. You will definitely be hearing a lot from this exciting new band, Nevada Rose.
We told you to hang on a bit longer and here it is… our interview with The Rabid Whole when they made their stop in San Francisco at the DNA Lounge. Check out the interview here:
In case you missed any of our coverage from their stop in SF, check it out below. Make sure to see them when they come to a venue near you!! They are not to be missed!

This past Sunday we made it to San Francisco and no, not for the World Series, for something much more energetic and climatic! We were at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco for the Cyanotic and The Rabid Whole TERMINATOUR. It was definitely the right place to be as these bands were over the top with energy and delivered sets that would rival our concert coverage of 2014! We will be bringing you coverage of Cyanotic later but for now, let me tell you how The Rabid Whole completely blew us away with their set.
The Above DNA Lounge has quite an intimate setting but when you get an energetic band on that small stage, the room can’t contain the adrenaline running through everyone’s veins. That is exactly what The Rabid Whole did. They came out and gave 150% of themselves on that stage, it was as if they were playing for a crowd of 10,000! I love a band that comes out and delivers their all every single time and that is what The Rabid Whole does. Their music can be described as a blend of electronic infused alternative rock but even die hard rockers or metalheads will fall fast in love with them. If you ever had a doubt about where music is headed, no need to worry The Rabid Whole is the answer that we have been searching for. We had a chance to interview them after their set and will be bringing the interview to you later this week.

The Rabid Whole
Each member has excellent stage presence and are outstanding at captivating the audience. Vocalist Andreas is fierce when he sings and he gets the crowd amped up from start to finish. Chalsey is not only a bad ass keyboardist but her vocals draw you right in and have you hooked. George is kicking out some cool riffs and Matt on drums consistently rocked the beat as he gave a show with his sticks flying in the air. Then we have to tell you about Oscar, the madman on bass. He is like a caged animal on that stage, ready to pounce and he literally gives every ounce of his energy to the crowd. Amazing band that bring depths and tones to their music and completely rocks! Rock ain’t dead, The Rabid Whole have just revived it and added a couple electronic cyborg parts to it and are ready to take over! Check out the photos from our Rockin Ryan of their set:

Metro Station have just released their music video for their song, She Likes Girls. The track comes from the recently released EP, Gold, which is available now on iTunes, here: http://bit.ly/1uumMP7. Regarding the inspiration for the video, Trace Cyrus of Metro Station explains, “She Likes Girls” is a song about meeting a girl and thinking she is into you but finding out she is attracted to girls. Instead of being upset she doesn’t have feelings for you it’s about supporting her because the choice she is making is looked down upon at times. The song is about doing what makes you happy in a relationship. The point of the song is to find someone that makes you happy and don’t care about anyone else’s opinion.” Check out the video here:
The album was released earlier this month and have been getting some well deserved attention and praise. American analog electro artist WVM has released two tracks, ‘Empire’ and ‘Pale Horse’ off of his upcoming album “Waves Of Nothing“, the release of which has not yet been announced. ‘Empire’ and ‘Pale Horse’ were made using analog synths and drum machines, I was heavily inspired by the synth music of the 80s but the songs are not rooted in any era as they sound like they could come from the past, present or future. – WVM
Check out the two songs here:
The songs are definitely going to become favorites for a range of generations. Not only do they bring the vibrancy and energy from the 80’s synth era but are not dated in any way, so even the youthful generation will love it. It brings me back to my youthful weekends spent at the DNA Lounge for SF Synth nights! Both tracks have us excited for the new album which we will keep you updated as to a release date.
Both of the tracks were produced, performed, arranged and composed byWVM and mixed by Sean Beavan (NIN, Manson, No Doubt,Slayer). Stay tuned and make sure to visit his social media sites to stay up to date on the latest news.
Metro Station have announced they are back and reunited! Trace Cyrus and Mason Musso have spent a lot of time together after the breakup but chose to keep their reconciliation private and wanted to announce the reunion when they were ready. The time is now for Metro Station. Now that Musso and Cyrus have reunited, it’s time to get back into the studio and make more Metro Station music. Their new EP will be released on October 14th and pre-orders are available now on iTunes, here: http://bit.ly/1uumMP7. Pre-order bundles are also available at: metrostation.merchnow.com. You can stream Gold in its entirety exclusively at Billboard.com, here: http://bit.ly/1CVzMkG They EP will feature their brand new song “Love And War,” a track that blends the group’s signature electro-pop melodies and newfound lyrical depth. Watch the video for “Love And War”
You can pick up the new song by heading over to iTunes here. Not only does the future look bright, but the possibilities are endless for Metro Station. “I really think in the long run, we’re going to look back at the breakup as a blessing from God,” Cyrus says with complete sincerity. “I’m very religious so I feel like God kinda came in, took everything we had away from us and slapped us on the wrist, saying, ‘You need to learn, you need to appreciate what I’m giving you.’ I feel like this is our second chance to make things right and to prove that we enjoy doing this and appreciate it.”
You can also catch Metro Station live as they will be heading out on tour with The Ready Set this fall. Check out tour dates and pick up tickets by visiting here: http://soundrink.com/front/tour/the-outsiders-tour. Tour dates are listed below:

Evanescence’s Amy Lee shows a very different side of her music to her fans with the release of her song, Push The Button which is featured on Aftermath, the soundtrack for the movie War Story which is currently available on iTunes here. The song brings delicious blend of tones in an electronic ambient infused track. The track was created by Amy as the film director struggled to find the right music for a particular scene. Amy explains, “It’s very different for me, it’s electronic. I did it all myself, which was crazy, because I’m used to engineering and writing and mixing demos in my house, but being responsible for that being the end product was a new challenge for me, It was like ‘This is it, I’m mixing this.’” Amy makes her film score debut with Aftermath
Check out her song Push The Button here:
We may be hearing a lot more from Amy as she is set on showing different sides of herself through her music.
Here is another video that features a teaser for Lockdown:
