Ohio based metalcore band, Convictions have released a video for their fierce hardcore metal song, Sharks. It was produced by Joey Sturgis and the video was directed and edited by David Borges.Check out the video here:

Recording ‘SHARKS’ was quite the experience for us. Everything up to the final tracking was very stressful. We have all been through so much in our personal lives this past year, and we really wanted to let it all out in the music. We want people to be able to relate this song, and what we go through. We try to be as honest as possible with everything we do because we believe that is how music should be. There are kids out there going through real issues that aren’t being addressed in much modern music. We wanted to talk about the stuff everyone is afraid to talk about. Musically, we demoed it out countless times before going into the studio. But I don’t think it would have sounded as good if we weren’t so stressed out. You can hear the passion, pain, and struggle in the vocals. This song came out very raw, a little messy at times, with a crazy energy that matches how we perform live. Sturgis helped us capture our emotional, raw sound perfectly. And this music video we filmed couldn’t have been a better representation of our live show, and our message with this song.

The song is also available as a free download through Soundcloud below:
