Spider Rockets

I always enjoy hearing from our audience about bands to check out. Most recently I received a tip from Bill (@MetalGod41 on Twitter) to check out Spider Rockets. I had heard of this band before and was glad for the refresh from him. He included their video for “Going Down” in his message and it was awesome!

Spider Rockets are from New Jersey and these rockers really kick ass.  They have a very unique sound since they perfectly blend their influences of punk, rock, metal, alternative and much more. Sometimes bands with a variety of influences seem to get lost in their identity, not Spider Rockets. They have created their OWN Identity and it will have you Rockin in no time!

Helena Cos is on lead vocals and she has such a charismatic energy while she sings that draws you in. Johnny Nap is on lead guitar and backing vocals and Greg Manning on bass guitar and backing vocals. On drums is Dan Prestup. These four together conjure up some bad ass rock.  Check out their video for “Going Down” which was released just last month and is on their CD “Bitten” which you can pick up on Itunes here.

They have just finished up touring with Saliva and Trapt. I am hoping they are planning a trip out West here to California! I have been told that their live performances are a 150% pure energy and non stop adrenaline. Make sure to check out their social media site so you can stay up to date on the latest Spider Rockets news. Thanks again Bill (@metalgod41) for the tip and if you  have someone you want us to check out, email us at mari@musicjunkiepress.com or Tweet us at @maririchardson We look forward to hearing from you.
